Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

Our team, Birdie's Bosom Buddies made an impact at Saturday's walk at Villages of Ponderosa. We had over 30 people wearing the green t-shirts with pink lettering. The day was beautiful - breezy and warm and the three mile trail wound through the residential streets of the housing development close to West Glenn. Thanks to those who supported us. Walk a Mile in Their Shoes

This is a delayed report on the first annual Walk A Mile fundraiser for Hope Ministries. It was a week ago on Sat. It was a beautiful morning at Copper Creek Lake, a great turnout, estimated 500 people. And their fund-raising was overwhelming - $37,000! Bill & I walked - thank you for those who supported us with cash and pledges.
